Highly Soluble Calcium and Magnesium complex

 Calcium is the most common mineral in the human body, and everyone is familiar with its importance to healthy bones and teeth. Magnesium is involved in over 300 interactions in the body. Many roles it has in regulating heart rhythm, blood pressure, cellular metabolism and intracellular balance of numerous other minerals, including calcium.  

Research supports a 2 to 1 ration of calcium to magnesium intake. Ingredients with high solubility offer the best combination of bioavailability and tolerability.

Magnesium Deficiency
Magnesium depletion in our soils and poor dietary choices have contributed to an estimated 68% of the US population being deficient in magnesium.  Diets that are high in calcium, or calcium supplementation without magnesium, have been shown to decrease magnesium absorption, lower magnesium tissue levels, and increase magnesium requirements. Numerous OTC and prescription drugs also adversely affect magnesium levels.  Insufficient magnesium levels are associated with alterations in calcium regulation, glucose metabolism, energy production, response to insulin, and blood pressure. 

Research supports a 2 to 1 ratio of calcium to magnesium intake.
